The one and only Neptune.
Neptune was my kennel matriarch, and all around superstar of the kennel. Although small, weighing in around 45 pounds and exceptionally goofy looking, Neptune was a real dark horse and the inspiration for the name of the my kennel.
The most driven, focused , and competitive leader I’ve ever run as well as one of the mentally toughest dogs I’ve met. She had an endless appetite and was always banging her harness to go. She finished in lead in every race she ran and has been an integral part of building up the young guns in the kennel.
There will never be another Neptune.
