Brodie is the original Dark Horse Sled Dog. He came with me to Alaska in 2013 from Colorado and has been key to training my young puppies in lead with advanced commands and manners. Brodie spends about 50% of his time indoors as a pet and the other 50% training up the pups. At seven years old he was a member of the 2018 Quest team to help guide the pups along their first 1000 mile race. He now races with the yearling team and passes along his knowledge to the next generation. Brodie is sweet, well mannered, and very dedicated to me. He went from running only five mile tours in Colorado to touring thousands of miles in the Alaskan wilderness and participating in some of the most competitive distance races in the world. He loves inside pet life but always steps up big on tough runs to show the young guns how it’s done! Sponsor Brodie and follow his adventures as a 100% pet during his retirement years!
